FC Barcelona midfielders Gavi and Frenkie de Jong see market value drop

The market value of FC Barcelona midfielders Gavi and Frenkie de Jong has seen a significant decline. According to Transfermarkt, both players are now valued at 25 million euros each, a sharp drop from their previous peak of 90 million euros.

Gavi’s valuation has fallen by 65 million euros, largely due to a serious knee injury—a torn anterior cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus—sustained while playing for Spain in November 2023. Despite returning to the pitch, physical issues have hindered his continuity. His contract with the club remains valid until June 30, 2030.
