FC Barcelona open to €40 million sale of midfielder Marc Casado

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has indicated that the club is willing to consider offers for young midfielder Marc Casado, who is valued at around €40 million (approximately 300 million Danish kroner). The club sees a potential sale as financially beneficial under Financial Fair Play rules and would use any proceeds to fund future signings.

The Catalan side also maintains interest in 19‑year‑old left‑back Jorge Salinas from Racing Santander, but officials say they will not exceed a €6 million fee, which they consider a fair price for the player. Agent Jorge Mendes has met with club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco to discuss the possible transfer.

Both negotiations are ongoing, and no definitive deals have been confirmed yet.
