FC Bayern Munich extends contracts for Dreesen and Eberl
FC Bayern Munich has officially extended the contracts of CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and sporting board member Max Eberl until June 30, 2029. The decision was made by the club's supervisory board to ensure continuity and stability within the leadership team.
Supervisory board chairman Herbert Hainer emphasized that the extensions are intended to provide direction and strength as the club navigates a dynamic competitive environment. The management board, which also includes marketing and sales executive Rouven Kasper, aims to drive the club forward both sporting and commercially.
Max Eberl, who joined the board in March 2024, expressed pride in the extension, noting that it is a product of his work despite previous criticisms regarding squad management and communication. Jan-Christian Dreesen, who has been with the club since 2013, stated his commitment to maintaining Bayern's position as a top international club.
