FC Cincinnati secures 2-0 victory over D.C. United

FC Cincinnati secured a critical 2-0 away victory against D.C. United, moving closer to an MLS Cup postseason berth. Goals from David Doudera and Teenage Hadebe provided the win in a match described by head coach Pat Noonan as a gritty performance necessitated by limited time and space.

The victory follows a recent home win against the same opponent, completing a back-to-back series. For FC Cincinnati, the match saw Bryan Ramirez enter the midfield due to a late injury to Tyrell Malacia, while Jose Martinez made his first appearance on the defensive bench since signing. D.C. United reinstated veteran goalkeeper Sean Johnson to the starting lineup for this fixture.
