The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested ten individuals suspected of vandalizing public infrastructure during separate operations in Kubwa, Wuye, and the National Mosque area of Abuja.

In Kubwa, a patrol team apprehended five suspects—Goodname Oriarebun, Timothy Donald, Ayo Buli, Emmanuel Elijah, and Christian David—while they were vandalizing armoured cables. In a separate incident in Wuye, police arrested Moses Luka for attempting to dig up armoured cables near the road between Magic Land and the National Stadium.

Additionally, a surveillance team from the Wuse Division arrested four suspects—Musa Abdullahi, Suleiman Idris, Aliyu Isa, and Muhammed Abdulrahman—near the National Mosque after they cut down a solar-powered street light to remove its components.

Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh stated that investigations are ongoing to identify other syndicate members and those receiving stolen infrastructure. All suspects are in custody and await prosecution.
