Feast of Our Lady of the Angels observed in Barlovci and Sinj, Croatia

On 2 August 2026 the Catholic Feast of Our Lady of the Angels was celebrated in two Croatian locations. In the parish of St. Vida in Barlovci, about 150 faithful from the parish and the diaspora attended a Mass led by Fr. Franjo Radman together with Fr. Ivo Orlovac, Fr. Dominik Batinić and others. The homily highlighted Marian advocacy and Franciscan values, urging participants to bring peace and gratitude into their homes.

In the Basilica of the Miraculous Virgin Mary in Sinj, an eucharistic celebration was held for members of the Viteško alkarsko društvo Sinj. Around 100 members, led by President Dr. Stipo Jukić, participated in the liturgy presided over by Fr. Marinko Vukman, with Fr. Šimun Markulin delivering a sermon linking Saint Francis of Assisi’s spirituality to the knightly ideals of the society. Both services were streamed live on the basilica’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
