Fecomércio-SC, Sesc, and Senac honored by Santa Catarina Legislature

The Santa Catarina Legislative Assembly (Alesc) held a special session in Florianópolis to honor the 78th anniversary of Fecomércio-SC and the 80th anniversaries of Sesc and Senac. The ceremony recognized the contributions of various leaders and institutions to the state's development.

Hélio Dagnoni, president of the Fecomércio-Sesc-Senac SC System, noted that the commerce, services, and tourism sectors account for approximately 65% of the state's GDP and are the largest employers in Santa Catarina, generating over one million direct jobs. Dagnoni also announced plans to invest more than R$ 1 billion in infrastructure, including new equipment, hotels, and event centers, as well as expanding services to regions with lower human development indices.
