Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs increases budget for police training and equipment

The Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs (FMUP) has significantly increased its budget and investments in police training and infrastructure for the 2023–2025 period. Total budget execution rose to 46 million KM, compared to 23 million KM during the 2020–2022 period.

Key areas of increased spending include material-technical equipment, which rose from 641,000 KM to 7.2 million KM, and the reconstruction of the Police Academy and Police Home, which increased from approximately 236,000 KM to 3.73 million KM. These funds are directed toward renovating teaching spaces, improving energy efficiency, heating systems, electrical installations, and water and sewage infrastructure.

Federal Minister Ramo Isak has emphasized that improving material and infrastructural conditions is essential for high-quality police training and strengthening the security system within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additionally, revenues from cadet training have increased from 5.08 million KM to 16.06 million KM.
