Federation of BiH launches 4 million KM prosumer subsidy program

The Operator for Renewable Energy Sources and Efficient Cogeneration (Operator za OIEiEK) has launched a public call to co-finance the construction of prosumer facilities for households in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program has allocated 4 million KM in total.

Of this amount, 1.2 million KM is designated for socially vulnerable households, which can receive up to 100 percent of eligible costs. The remaining 2.8 million KM is available for individuals, owners, or co-owners of family homes, covering up to 50 percent of eligible costs. The initiative aims to support the production of electricity for personal use.

Goran Valka, Acting President of the Operator za OIEiEK Board, stated that this is a significant step in implementing the prosumer model in the Federation. The public call will remain open for up to 90 days or until the available funds are exhausted.
