Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliament holds no regular sessions for five months

The House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not held a regular session in five months. During this period, only one extraordinary session took place in late July, where laws regarding payment services, electronic money, and rights for demobilized veterans were adopted.

Despite the lack of regular sessions, professional representatives have continued to receive monthly salaries and allowances. With a base salary exceeding 4,000 KM and additional allowances, total monthly earnings for a representative can surpass 5,000 KM. This means that over the five-month period of inactivity, an individual representative could have received more than 25,000 KM in base pay and allowances alone, excluding other benefits such as meal allowances and travel costs.
