Additionally, the consumer ombudsman recorded nearly 900 complaints regarding utilities and services.

Political dissatisfaction persists regarding official compensation. Despite the portal ‘Istinomjer’ reporting that only 20 out of 251 state-level promises by the Council of Ministers have been fulfilled, government officials are set to receive salary increases. Ministers and parliamentarians may see monthly pay rise by 600 KM, while House of Peoples delegates could approach 8,000 KM. Finance Minister Srđan Amidžić has distanced himself from the move, stating he did not propose the law and that responsibility lies with the parliamentarians who adopted it. Analysts note these raises occur as citizens face low wages and anti-corruption reforms remain blocked.
