Federica Sciarelli bows out of Rai 3’s ‘Chi l’ha visto?’ after 22‑year run
After 22 years at the helm of Rai 3’s ‘Chi l’ha visto?’, journalist Federica Sciarelli signed off in the program’s final episode on 1 July 2026. In her farewell she thanked the Tg 3 newsroom, the production team, the families who trusted the show and the viewers who helped locate missing persons, describing the two‑decade tenure as “a beautiful walk”.
The broadcast also marked the start of a succession hunt for the show’s next host. Rai has ruled out several high‑profile candidates – former Rai director Stefano Coletta, presenters Eleonora Daniele and Francesca Fialdini, among others – and the pool now includes internal journalists and external figures such as Pino Rinaldi, Veronica Briganti and Emilia Brandi. The broadcaster is reportedly considering promoting one of the programme’s long‑standing reporters, but no decision has been announced as the final episode aired.
