Federico Chiesa faces uncertain future at Liverpool

Federico Chiesa’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain as he faces increased competition within the club’s offensive lineup. The 28-year-old Italian forward has seen limited playing opportunities following recent squad reinforcements and the emergence of younger players.

Several Serie A clubs, including Lazio, Inter, and Atalanta, are reportedly monitoring his situation for a potential return to Italian football. However, his current salary presents a significant obstacle to a transfer. Chiesa earns approximately £160,000 per week, totaling roughly £8.3 million annually.

A move to Italy may only be feasible if the player agrees to a significant wage reduction. Without such an agreement, he may remain at Anfield until his contract expires.
