Federico Chiesa linked to Serie A return amid Liverpool struggles

Federico Chiesa is reportedly attracting interest from three Serie A clubs—Inter Milan, Atalanta, and Lazio—as he seeks a move away from Liverpool during the January transfer window.

Since joining Liverpool from Juventus in the summer of 2024, the 28-year-old winger has struggled to secure regular playing time. Reports indicate he has not played a single minute so far this season and has recorded only five goals in 50 appearances for the English club. A return to Italy is viewed as a potential way for Chiesa to revitalize his career and secure a more consistent role within the Italian national team.

While interest from the three Italian sides is being monitored, there are currently no concrete negotiations or formal bids in place. Any potential transfer would depend on Liverpool’s willingness to part with the player mid-season.
