Feira de Santana awards $134 million parking concession to ZAD consortium

The municipality of Feira de Santana announced that the ZAD Feira de Santana consortium won the public auction for the city's rotating‑parking (Zona Azul) system. The bid, presented on the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo, secured a 20‑year concession with a variable fee of 36.19% and an investment of roughly R$ 134.7 million for operation, maintenance and modernization.

Mayor José Ronaldo de Carvalho attended the closing ceremony, highlighting the project as a historic step for urban mobility and a catalyst for economic development. The consortium, formed by Primeira Estacionamento Ltda., EYSA Estacionamento e Serviços Unipessoal Ltda. and MOB Parking Ltda., will also support the rollout of smart traffic lights and a mini‑city for traffic‑education initiatives during the concession period.
