Feira de Santana advances urban infrastructure and road paving projects

The city of Feira de Santana is undertaking several infrastructure projects to improve urban mobility and road conditions. The Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra) has begun asphalt paving in the Conjunto Fraternidade area within the Tomba neighborhood. This initial phase includes the paving of Umuarama and Deputado Francisco Pinto streets, with a total of over 12,200 square meters of roadwork planned across six streets. The project aims to enhance traffic flow and safety, particularly in areas serving public transportation.

In a separate development, City Council President Marcos Lima has formally requested the municipal government to implement cobblestone paving and asphalt resurfacing in the Mangabeira and Campo Limpo neighborhoods. The request specifically highlights Rua Jucias in the Mirassol allotment, citing issues with irregular soil, mud during rainy seasons, and excessive dust during dry periods, which impact residents and the accessibility of essential services like ambulances and school transport.
