Feira de Santana prepares for Expofeira and new outlet mall

Feira de Santana is undergoing several commercial and infrastructural developments. The city is set to host the 47th Expofeira from September 6 to 13, 2026, at the João Martins da Silva Exhibition Park. To support the event, the municipal administration has expanded the park's capacity from 50 to 150 exhibitors, installed new electrical infrastructure, and paved access roads. A cleaning operation involving 60 agents will be deployed daily to manage an estimated 70 tons of waste.

In addition to the agricultural fair, the city is preparing for the launch of Outlet Feira Premium, a new shopping destination located along the BR-324 highway. The project aims to combine retail, gastronomy, and entertainment in a space designed for both shopping and social interaction.

Regarding cultural mobility, the municipal government provided free transportation for 524 passengers during the Flifs 2026 literary festival, facilitating access to the Convention Center via the Semob service.
