Feira de Santana upgrades exposition park for 2026 Expofeira

The city hall of Feira de Santana, through its Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra), is carrying out internal upgrades at the João Martins da Silva Exhibition Park. Work includes mechanized cleaning, paving and leveling of a new arena used for animal shows and contests, aiming to support the 47th Expofeira livestock fair scheduled for 6‑13 September 2026. The improvements are intended to enhance the event’s capacity to showcase dairy and beef cattle, horses, goats, sheep and other species, as well as to promote technological displays, vehicle sales, a gourmet village and entertainment for families.

These upgrades are seen as an opportunity for breeders to improve herd genetics and for the regional agro‑industry to benefit from increased commercial activity during the fair.
