The Felker wildfire, located south of Williams Lake in British Columbia, has been confirmed at 2,300 hectares as of July 25, 2026. The fire was first reported on July 23, 2026 and remains out of control. BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) has deployed 44 firefighting personnel, along with aviation assets—including air tankers, helicopters and fixed‑wing skimmers—to drop water and retardant, and heavy equipment for ground support.

Fire information officer Madison Dahl of the Cariboo Fire Centre said crews have worked overnight on the northern flank to establish a guard line and focused on the southeast flank on July 24. The agency has urged residents to avoid non‑essential use of nearby roads, maintain clear evacuation routes, and relocate livestock away from the fire zone. An evacuation alert covers local properties, and the public is advised to monitor official BCWS channels for updates.
