FEMP organizes nationwide demonstrations in support of Ceuta

The Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), currently led by Jerez de la Frontera Mayor María José García Pelayo, is organizing a nationwide mobilization across Spain. Scheduled for next Wednesday, the movement involves more than two hundred demonstrations in provincial capitals, major cities, and towns.

While the official call for these demonstrations is to show support for Ceuta, the mobilization is viewed as a significant political action occurring on the eve of a parliamentary intervention by Pedro Sánchez. The PSOE has reportedly requested that its municipal representatives abstain from participating in the scheduled events.
