Fenatran 2026 to showcase commercial vehicle innovations in Brazil

The Fenatran 2026 trade fair, scheduled for November 9 to 13 at the São Paulo Expo, is set to feature a record number of participants and technological advancements in the commercial vehicle sector. The 25th edition of the event has reached 100% commercial space, expanding to over 100,000 square meters with more than 700 brands participating.

Thirteen truck manufacturers are expected to attend, a historical record for the fair. The event highlights a shifting market landscape in Brazil, with new players such as BYD, Foton, JAC, Sany, and Sinotruk joining traditional manufacturers. The industry is moving toward vehicles that serve as platforms for energy, data, and services, utilizing various fuel types including diesel, electricity, gas, and biomethane.

Among the technical highlights is Eaton’s new DURA4TRAK transfer case, designed for light and medium commercial vehicles weighing between 6 and 15 tons. The aluminum-housed component aims to reduce vehicle weight and improve fuel efficiency while providing high torque capacity for 4x4 applications in demanding environments such as construction, agriculture, and military use.
