The 25th edition of Fenatran, Latin America’s primary road freight transport trade fair, is scheduled to take place from November 9 to 13 at the São Paulo Expo. The event has reached full commercial capacity, spanning over 100,000 square meters with more than 700 participating brands.

Industry developments highlighted for the fair include a record participation of thirteen truck manufacturers. The market landscape in Brazil is shifting as new players such as BYD, Foton, JAC, Sany, and Sinotruk join traditional manufacturers. The sector is increasingly focusing on vehicles that serve as platforms for energy, data, and services, utilizing diesel, electricity, gas, and biomethane.

As the event approaches, Sinotruk is set to mark its strategic return to the Brazilian market by debuting heavy-duty alternatives to diesel. These include the Sitrak C7H 6x4 powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) with a 560 hp engine and a fully electric version equipped with a 600 kWh battery system designed for rapid energy unit replacement. Other technological highlights include Cummins Brasil, which will present a new generation of its locally produced 4.5-liter diesel engine. This model reportedly increases maximum power by 14.3% to 240 hp and delivers 850 Nm of torque, with laboratory tests indicating a fuel consumption reduction of up to 9%.

Additional participants include Randon, which will debut a 16.4-metre cargo body engineered for e-commerce to increase volume while reducing weight, alongside new Grain Truck and stainless steel tipper lines. TRATON Financial Services (TFS) Brasil will also make its debut, offering credit solutions like CDC and FINAME BNDES to support fleet renewal. Dunlop Pneus will exhibit its cargo tire portfolio and offer interactive experiences, such as driving simulators and virtual reality tours of its manufacturing facility in Paraná.
