Fenerbahçe Futbol AŞ appoints new board after seven resignations

On 23 July 2026 the club held an extraordinary general meeting in Istanbul, announcing that seven members of the Fenerbahçe Futbol A Ş board – including Mahmut Uslu, Ali Gürbüz, Erdem Sezer, İlker Alkun, Olcay Doğan, Ufuk Şansal and Yavuz Selim Demir – resigned by their own request. The resignations were disclosed through a filing on the Turkish Capital Markets Platform (KAP). Mahmut Uslu will remain in his role at the broader Fenerbahçe Sports Club.

The same meeting appointed a new board. Aziz Yıldırım was named chairman, Barış Göktürk as vice‑chairman, and thirteen members – Nihat Özbağı, Cihan Kamer, Tanju Kaya, Mehmet Selim Kosif, Özgür Peker, Mustafa Çağlar, Fatih Öztürk, Feridun Geçgel, Batuhan Özdemir, Yusuf Buğra Tanık and Mehmet Aydın – were confirmed. Independent board members will be registered after approval by the relevant authorities.
