Fenerbahçe faces possible €20 million departure of defender Jayden Oosterwolde to Crystal Palace

Turkish club Fenerbahçe is weighing a transfer for Dutch defender Jayden Oosterwolde as the Premier League side Crystal Palace prepares an offer of around €20 million. The move is motivated by Fenerbahçe’s need to reduce its foreign‑player quota under the 10+4 rule. Oosterwolde, who joined Fenerbahçe in 2023 from Parma for €6 million and is under contract until 2028, has been linked with a move to England to fulfil his ambition of playing in the Premier League.

Fenerbahçe coach Ismail Kartal previously said Oosterwolde would stay, but the club is now reviewing the proposal. The transfer agreement includes a clause that any sale above €7 million will see 30 % of the profit paid to Parma, Oosterwolde’s former club.
