Fernando Haddad attacks São Paulo governor Tarcísio de Freitas and performs with Marina Silva

During a PSOL‑organized "Encontro com Mulheres" in São Paulo, former minister Fernando Haddad, candidate for the state governorship, harshly criticised Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, saying the state is "regressing" in education, sanitation, public security for women and water services. He highlighted São Paulo’s 0.5% growth versus Brazil’s 2.3% and a reported 186% rise in the homeless population, accusing the administration of favoring propaganda over public policies.

Later, in São José do Rio Preto, Haddad and former senator Marina Silva joined the stage at a campaign rally, sharing a microphone to sing a classic Gilberto Gil song. The event followed visits to the local Hospital de Base and a cultural gathering at the Vasco Center, where they addressed national politics, the 2026 elections and engaged supporters.
