Fernando Haddad campaigns in Jundiaí and calls for transparency in Banco Master case

Fernando Haddad, the Workers' Party (PT) candidate for the Governor of São Paulo, is scheduled to hold a rally in Jundiaí this Thursday. The event will include a walk to the Cathedral Nossa Senhora do Desterro plaza followed by a speech and a press conference.

Recent Datafolha polling shows incumbent Governor Tarcísio de Freitas leading the race with 49% of the vote, while Haddad holds 29%. When considering valid votes only, the gap widens to 56% for de Freitas and 32% for Haddad.

Separately, Haddad has called for greater transparency regarding Supreme Federal Court (STF) investigations into the Banco Master case. He argued that the "future of Brazil is at stake" and urged the court to lift secrecy on inquiries involving messages between Minister Alexandre de Moraes and banker Daniel Vorcaro. Haddad characterized the situation as a major banking fraud involving private and public actors and emphasized the need for public disclosure ahead of general elections.
