Ferrara promotes slow tourism via new cycling itinerary

The Consorzio Visit Ferrara, in collaboration with the municipalities of Ostellato, Portomaggiore, and Argenta, has launched the “In bici tra Valli e Delizie” initiative. This cycling itinerary is designed to promote a slow and conscious exploration of the Ferrara territory, connecting the Renaissance city with its rural and natural surroundings.

The approximately 180-kilometer route traverses a diverse landscape, including the Po Delta Regional Park, ancient Estense residences, agricultural areas, and various watercourses. The path aims to highlight architectural details, historical traces, and local traditions by moving from the monumental center of Ferrara toward the inland countryside and wetlands.
