Ferrari auction in Monterey features seven iconic hypercars
An auction of seven legendary Ferraris will be held in Monterey, California, on August 14‑15, 2026. The two‑night sale includes the 288 GTO, the F40, the F50, the Enzo, the LaFerrari, the Daytona SP3 and the one‑off Luce “Chassis 0,” the showcase model for Ferrari’s Tailor Made program.
Several cars have exceptionally low mileage and provenance, such as the 288 GTO with just 932 miles that passed through the collections of German businessman Hans Breidenbroich and others, and the F40 previously owned by former auto executive Lee Iacocca. The F50 and the Luce “Chassis 0” were owned by former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. All vehicles are certified by Ferrari Classiche and will be sold by RM Sotheby’s, promising to reshape the collections of high‑net‑worth buyers.
