Ferrari introduces limited 12Cilindri Manuale with gated shifter

Ferrari has unveiled the 12Cilindri Manuale, a limited production run of 1,499 units that marks the brand’s first manual-transmission model in nearly 15 years. Revealed at the Balocco Proving Ground, the vehicle features a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine producing 819 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.

The car utilizes a unique manual-by-wire system layered over an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. This setup allows for a traditional gated shifter and three-pedal experience while maintaining essential electronic features like torque vectoring and ABS. The system requires specific driver inputs to engage manual mode and is designed to prevent engine over-revving.

Ferrari also showcased a special 'Alluminio Spazzolato' finish for the model. This unpainted, unvarnished bodywork features hand-brushed aluminum as a tribute to the brand’s craftsmanship. All 1,499 units have already been allocated, with a price tag of approximately £508,000.
