Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale release

Overview

Ferrari has unveiled the 12Cilindri Manuale, a limited-edition supercar featuring a ‘Manuale By-Wire’ system. This technology utilizes a gated shifter, clutch pedal, and three-pedal setup to electronically simulate a manual experience, transmitting driver commands to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The system allows for manual control through six forward gears while reserving the seventh and eighth gears for automatic operation.

Powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 819 horsepower, the vehicle is built on an aluminum chassis that is reportedly 15 percent more torsionally rigid than the 812 Superfast. Ferrari also showcased an ‘Alluminio Spazzolato’ finish, featuring hand-brushed, unpainted aluminum bodywork.

Production is strictly limited to 1,499 coupé units, all of which have reportedly already been allocated. Pricing varies by region, with the model priced at approximately £508,000 or $1,204,000 in Australia.
