Ferrari launches 849 Testarossa hybrid supercar with 1,050 hp
Ferrari has introduced the 849 Testarossa, a hybrid-powered supercar delivering 1,050 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.3 seconds. The model features a distinct side air conduit called the “sponda,” a single‑piece aluminium channel that feeds air to enlarged intercoolers. An active rear spoiler switches between low‑drag and high‑downforce modes in less than a second, generating 415 kg of vertical load at 250 km/h. The car rides on bespoke Pirelli P Zero R tyres and offers electric Racing Daytona leather seats with carbon‑fiber‑optimised options. Inside, the cockpit is wrapped in aluminium with a horizontal‑styled dashboard and C‑shaped ventilation ducts. Test‑drive impressions highlight the combination of raw power and refined aerodynamics that translate theoretical performance into a tangible driving experience.
