Ferrari lifts earnings outlook as AI‑driven wealth fuels demand for ultra‑personalised supercars

Ferrari raised its full‑year financial guidance, expecting adjusted earnings of at least €2.97 billion for 2026 after a strong second quarter where adjusted EBITDA reached €755 million and operating profit rose 10 % to €605 million despite a 3.7 % drop in shipments to 3,366 units. The boost came from limited‑run models such as the €3.6 million F80 hypercar (limited to 799 units) and the newly priced Purosangue Handling Speciale SUV, as well as an increase in bespoke options that the company says will generate more than 20 % of its annual revenue.

Chief executive Benedetto Vigna linked the surge to an “AI boom,” noting that new wealth created by artificial‑intelligence‑related shares in the United States is driving customers to request highly customised features – from unique leather finishes to additional cameras – across its range. Ferrari also highlighted the upcoming fully electric model Luce, designed with LoveFrom, as it prepares to translate the emotional appeal of its V12 heritage into an electric powertrain.

Analysts see the results as a reassurance that Ferrari can maintain ultra‑high margins while transitioning toward electrification and catering to a growing segment of AI‑generated affluent buyers.
