Ferrari Luce electric model sold out for 2027 production
Ferrari has announced that the entire planned production for its first fully electric model, the Luce, is already reserved for 2027. CEO Benedetto Vigna confirmed this during the presentation of third-quarter 2026 financial results, noting that demand has fully absorbed the available capacity for that year.
Despite initial controversy regarding its design, the model has seen strong commercial success. The Luce, which was designed in collaboration with Jony Ive’s LoveFrom studio, features a higher body profile and a five-seat configuration that differs from traditional Ferrari silhouettes. While some enthusiasts criticized the aesthetic direction, Vigna stated that private presentations to potential clients revealed an extremely positive reception.
New customers ordering the Luce can expect a waiting list of approximately one year. Although the company did not disclose exact production numbers, the model is positioned as a significant shift for the Maranello-based manufacturer as it enters the electric era.
