Ferrari Luce electric vehicle sells out 2027 production capacity

Ferrari’s first all-electric model, the Luce, has seen its 2027 production allocation fully sold out despite significant design criticism following its debut in May. During the company’s third-quarter earnings call, CEO Benedetto Vigna confirmed that all vehicles planned for 2027 production have already been allocated to buyers, meaning new customers face a waiting period of approximately one year.

The Luce, which features a four-door, five-seat configuration, was designed in collaboration with Jony Ive’s LoveFrom. While the vehicle’s departure from traditional Ferrari styling sparked debate, demand remains high among collectors and high-net-worth individuals. The model is expected to begin its first deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Technical specifications for the Luce include a dedicated 800V platform powered by four independent electric motors, producing a combined output of approximately 1,035 horsepower. The vehicle features an all-wheel-drive system and a 122 kWh battery. While Ferrari has not disclosed specific production volumes, reports suggest a long-term target of selling 2,500 units by 2030.
