Ferrari Luce electric vehicle sparks auction record and tuning interest

The Ferrari Luce, the brand's first electric vehicle, has drawn significant attention due to its controversial design and high market value. At an RM Sotheby’s auction, the first produced model of the Luce sold for approximately 29 million pounds (around 33.5 million euros).

While the vehicle's aesthetics have sparked debate, its performance specifications are notable. The Luce features four independent electric motors producing 1,050 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 311 km/h and a range of approximately 330 miles. Standard retail prices are expected to be around 509,000 euros when deliveries begin later this year.

The aftermarket industry is also reacting to the new model. Luxury wheel manufacturer Vossen Wheels has showcased custom modifications for the Luce, including duoblock G2-13T wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches, a lowered suspension, a large fixed rear spoiler, a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser.
