Ferrari secures pole position at Monza for WEC season finale

Antonio Fuoco claimed pole position for the Ferrari 499P AF Corse at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza during qualifying for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season finale. Fuoco set a time of 1:33.364, narrowly beating Mathieu Jaminet in the Genesis Magma Racing GMR-001 by less than a tenth of a second.

The Hyperpole session saw Earl Bamber in the Cadillac V-Series R take third, followed by Antonio Giovinazzi in the #51 Ferrari. Robert Kubica, driving the #83 Ferrari AF Corse, finished eighth in the session. Notably, both Toyota entries, which remain in contention for the drivers' championship, failed to reach the Hyperpole and will start from 15th and 16th positions.

In the LMGT3 category, Hadrien David secured pole position for the Akkodis ASP Lexus RC F, edging out the Corvette TF Sport by 0.014 seconds after an Aston Martin penalty. The 6 Hours of Monza serves as the final round of the 2026 season, with championship titles still being decided in several categories.
