Ferrari unveils 849 Testarossa hybrid supercar

Ferrari introduced the 849 Testarossa at a launch event in Milan, positioning it as the brand’s newest flagship series‑production berlinetta that replaces the SF90 Stradale. Built in Maranello, the car combines a 4.0 L twin‑turbo V8 (830 hp) with three electric motors to produce a total output of 1,050 hp (1,036 bhp). Official performance figures claim 0‑100 km/h in under 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h. The model is offered as a two‑seat coupe and as a spider with a retractable hard‑top.

Deliveries to customers are scheduled to begin in 2026. In India the 849 Testarossa is priced at roughly ₹10.37 crore ex‑showroom, and it features a 7.45 kWh hybrid battery providing about 25 km of electric‑only range. The design, led by Flavio Manzoni, blends contemporary Ferrari styling cues from the recent F80 with historic references to the 1950s‑70s Testarossa lineage.
