Festa do Peão de Barretos concludes with record crowds and 2027 ambassadors

The 71st Festa do Peão de Barretos has concluded, marking a significant milestone for Latin America’s largest rodeo. The event featured massive infrastructure investments totaling approximately R$ 30 million, including new LED panels and improved spectator facilities. Musical performances were a major highlight, with Gusttavo Lima drawing a crowd of over 100,000 people during his headline set.

In the rodeo competitions, several athletes secured titles, including Assyrio from Paraná, who won the general classification, and Júlio César de Oliveira, who took the Cutiano title. The event also saw young talent such as six-year-old Gabriel Bosch winning the children's category.

Looking ahead to 2027, the organization has announced Chitãozinho & Xororó as the event ambassadors. The 72nd edition is scheduled for August 19–29, 2027, and will adopt a new communication theme inspired by the lyrics of the classic sertanejo song ‘Evidências’.
