Festa do Peão de Barretos begins with 1 million expected visitors

The 71st edition of the Festa do Peão de Barretos has commenced, expecting to host approximately 1 million visitors at the Parque do Peão. The event, recognized as the largest rodeo festival in Latin America, features a diverse lineup of sertanejo artists, including Ana Castela, Gusttavo Lima, and Matogrosso & Mathias.

Security and logistics are major priorities for the event. The São Paulo Military Police have deployed 2,000 agents, utilizing drones, helicopters, and specialized units like the cavalry and canine teams to prevent crime.
