Festival Quebramar opens national call for musical projects

The Festival Quebramar has opened a national call for musical projects and bands from across Brazil to participate in its 2026 edition. The event, themed ‘Integrating the Guianas’, will take place in Macapá, Amapá, between October and November.

The selected musical act will receive a fee of R$ 5,000, along with four airline tickets, accommodation, meals, and local transportation during their stay in Amapá. Beyond the performance, the chosen project will engage in professional development activities, including workshops, the Amazonian Festival Circuit Meeting, and a business round involving representatives from Brazil, French Guiana, and Suriname, as well as the Brazilian Association of Independent Festivals (ABRAFIN).

Sponsored by Petrobras through the Rouanet Law and organized by the Ministry of Culture, the festival aims to foster exchange and connection between artists from the Brazilian Amazon, the Caribbean Amazon, and the Guiana territories.
