Festival Timbre 2026 launches Hip Hop Stage in Uberlândia, Brazil

The Festival Timbre 2026 will take place on August 8‑9 at the Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia, bringing together more than 40 acts from Brazil’s urban culture scene. In partnership with Sesc Minas and the Sistema Fecomércio MG, the festival revives the popular Palco Sesc Hip Hop, a stage dedicated to the four core elements of hip‑hop – rap, DJing, breaking and graffiti – while also incorporating slam poetry, vogue, passinho, digital art and other street‑culture performances.

The two‑day program features a wide roster of artists and collectives, including Funkse, Duda in the Sky, Maria Preta, Tamara Franklin, Projeto Nêga Doce, Michz & Oric, Tropikaya, Ray, R Jay, Organismo Rap, Oxá, OG Negrona, Caxito, M4liik, SXGilo, Verde, Tempestade, Bnery, Havenna, Mandy, Banca 034, Zubu Cria, Prehto, MC Marah, Real Fifty, Key Z, Adedi, Mik4el M4, Mago SR, Carlly, Iorrana Jullyce, Brad, Virax and Manda Bala Véi, as well as dozens of DJs and breaking crews such as Evolution King’z, Fancy Black and BGirl Nirvana. The festival’s aim is to foster inter‑generational dialogue, broaden access to urban arts and highlight peripheral artistic production across Brazil.
