The second edition of the FesTVal-FORTA Awards has announced its winners, recognizing excellence in Spanish regional public broadcasting. The awards, which honor innovation and public service, will be presented on September 12 at the Palacio de Congresos Europa during the XVIII FesTVal festival.

In the entertainment category, ‘Ailoviu’ from Radiotelevisión de la Región de Murcia (RTRM) was honored for its long-standing role in combining humor, music, and citizen participation.

In the news category, Aragón TV received the award for its special coverage of the February 8 regional elections. The broadcast utilized a significant technical deployment, including three simultaneous sets and remote production, achieving a 33.5% audience share.

For lifestyle and educational content, the award went to ‘La Cuina de Morera’ from À Punt. The program focuses on Mediterranean gastronomy and healthy habits, featuring chef Jordi Morera and nutritionist Ana Sirvent.
