Fethiye hosts international air games festival in October

The 26th International Fethiye-Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival is scheduled to take place from October 21 to 25. Organized by the Fethiye Municipality with support from various non-governmental organizations, the event aims to attract participants from up to 60 different countries.

Pilots will launch from Babadağ to perform various aerial maneuvers, including freefall, batman flights, and acrobatics. Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca noted that previous years saw nearly 1,200 athletes from approximately 60 nations, and current registrations already include participants from about 30 countries.

A highlight of the festival will be a performance by the Turkish Stars, the Turkish Air Force's aerobatic team. They are scheduled to arrive in Fethiye on October 22 and will perform their synchronized aerial display over Çalış Beach on October 25 at 15:30.
