Fethiye-Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival

Overview

The 26th International Fethiye-Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival has officially commenced in Fethiye, with opening ceremonies held at Belcekız Beach. Running from October 21 to 25, 2026, the event features various aerial activities, including paragliding acrobatics, freefall skydiving, wingsuit flying, motorized paragliding, and hot air balloon displays.

Local officials, including Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık and representatives from the Turkish Aeronautical Association, attended the opening. A scheduled highlight remains the performance by the Türk Yıldızları, the Turkish Air Force’s aerobatic team, which is set to perform at Çalış Beach on Sunday.

To assist with international promotion, Turkish journalists from several European countries—including the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Austria—met with Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca. These journalists plan to conduct live broadcasts and news coverage to promote Fethiye’s tourism and the festival to European audiences.
