Fez security forces seize 4.1 tons of hashish

Security forces in Fez, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, intercepted a major drug trafficking attempt on Saturday, October 10. The operation, conducted in a rural area on the outskirts of Fez, resulted in the seizure of 4,100 kilograms of hashish.

Authorities arrested three suspects linked to an international drug trafficking network. During the raid on a farm, police also discovered a truck loaded with the narcotics, along with four marine engines and four inflatable boats believed to be used for international smuggling operations. One of the primary suspects was already the subject of a national search warrant for involvement in similar drug-related crimes.
