FGR destroys 25 tons of chemical precursors and substances in Mexico
The Mexican Attorney General's Office (FGR) destroyed approximately 31,857 liters of chemical precursors and over 25 tons of harmful substances. These materials were linked to various ongoing criminal investigations.
The destruction was managed by the Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor's Office (FECOR) in Durango, though the operation took place in the State of Mexico. The process involved coordination between the Federal Ministerial Police, institutional experts, and the Internal Control Body to ensure the legality of the identification, weighing, and final disposal of the materials.
In addition to the substances, authorities destroyed 1,246 criminal objects, including drums, sacks, and boxes. Officials stated that these actions are part of a coordinated effort across three levels of government to dismantle organized crime structures and weaken illicit supply chains.
