Emergency services respond to multiple fires and weather incidents in Germany and Austria

Multiple regions in Germany and Austria have experienced a surge in emergency calls due to fires and weather-related incidents. In Germany, several vegetation and forest fires have been reported, including a large-scale fire near the A63 in Kaiserslautern and a roadside fire on the A1 near Dibbersen that caused significant traffic delays. Other incidents include a farm equipment fire near Aschenhausen and a forest fire near Schwarzenbruck that was contained by passersby and firefighters.
