Fiat adjusts vehicle lineup ahead of Argo X launch

Fiat is adjusting its product lineup in anticipation of the upcoming Argo X crossover, expected to launch by late 2026. The company has begun offering the Argo as a 2027 model line, though currently limited to the entry-level Drive 1.0 version. This strategy suggests that higher-priced segments previously occupied by the Argo hatch will be transitioned to the new Argo X.

In tandem with these lineup shifts, the Fiat Cronos sedan is seeing significant price reductions. Some dealerships are offering discounts of over R$ 20,000 on specific models when a used vehicle is traded in, bringing prices for certain configurations below those of competitors like the Renault Kwid. While the Cronos saw a 10.6% increase in registrations in September 2026 compared to the previous year, its year-to-date sales from January to September have seen a decline of approximately 5.2%.
