Fiat cuts Abarth SUV prices and plans Argo X launch in Brazil
Fiat announced a price reduction of up to R$27,600 for its Abarth line of SUVs – the Pulse and Fastback – as part of a promotion running until 4 August. The Fastback Abarth now costs R$156,392, down from R$183,990, while the Pulse Abarth falls to R$146,240, a R$16,250 discount. The campaign also offers zero‑interest financing and up to 50 monthly installments, referencing Fiat’s 50‑year presence in Brazil.
Separately, Fiat is preparing to launch the new Argo X in September. The model draws design cues from the classic Fiat Uno and will be offered with a mild‑hybrid 1.0 L turbo engine. Pricing is expected between R$80,000 and R$120,000, positioning the Argo X against rivals such as the Hyundai HB20 and Chevrolet Onix. The launch aims to broaden Fiat’s portfolio and attract both private buyers and fleet customers in the competitive Brazilian market.
