Fiat Grande Panda exports from Serbia reach 2.8 billion euros
Exports of the Fiat Grande Panda, manufactured at the factory in Kragujevac, have reached 2.8 billion euros, marking a 51 percent increase according to data from the Republic Statistical Office of Serbia.
Economists note that the automotive industry is becoming a vital component of Serbia's export structure. While copper and auto parts remain the largest individual export categories, the automotive sector combined with parts accounts for approximately 25 percent of total exports. This production surge has contributed to Serbia achieving a trade surplus with Italy, as a significant portion of the vehicles produced in Kragujevac are exported there.
Additionally, digital concepts for the model have gained social media attention. An AI-generated render of a four-seat convertible version of the Grande Panda has circulated online, though Fiat has not announced plans for official mass production of such a model.
